Course: Introduction to Computer Technology

This course provides the foundation of core knowledge within the field of information technology. Topics include technology-centric organizations, the type and role of fundamental information technology systems, data management to include privacy and security, e-business and m-business, hardware, software, and computer networks.

What You Will Do:

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
• Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
• Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring:

• PhD/DBA Information Systems OR
  • Doctorate in an Information Systems related discipline (Preferred)   
• Master’s in Information Systems OR
  • Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) AND
  • 5 or more years of experience working with technology
