As an adjunct faculty member, you’ll provide program instruction incorporating innovative teaching methodologies, cutting-edge technologies and other industry trends reflecting advancements in your discipline. Course Description: MIS-665: Prescriptive Analytics and Advanced Topics
In this course students perform prescriptive analytics and other advanced analytics techniques to extract meaning from organizational data for the purpose of identifying and recommending solutions for specific business needs. Effective and persuasive communication of data and decision options to drive organizational change is also covered.
** This course is taught in the evening on the GCU Main Campus - Phoenix, AZ
** Course will run 08/01/19 - 09/25/19 and will meet on Wednesday evenings from 5:30pm - 9:30pm.
Responsibilities include equipping students with the required skill set, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student performance and preparing students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession.
- Preferred: PhD or other terminal degree with an emphasis in Information Systems.
- Minimum: Masters in Business Administration (MBA) or Masters in Information Systems AND 5 or more years experience in computer information systems. Additional required skills in Prescriptive statistics.
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
