Job Description

Grand Canyon University is seeking an Academic Program Coordinator in Engineering who will be responsible for managing the administrative, development, and continuous improvement projects of the Engineering College under the leadership of the Associate Dean.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective communication throughout all levels of the organization. 
  • Work with Senior Management to streamline and implement Engineering program processes and procedures in order to maximize efficiencies. 
  • Serve as coordinator for all project activities including engineering program development and liaison for academic assessment needs.
  • Provide project goals, scope, task assignment and timelines. 
  • Research, create and present project plans to the business unit teams, including identifying viable alternatives for solving problems, gathering and documenting business requirements. 
  • Generate and distribute various reports for current and new programs.
  • Maintain project schedules. 
  • Generate and edit Engineering subject matter content for various department needs, including marketing and enrollment materials. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement processes such as academic program assessment.
  • Familiarity with ABET accreditation preferred
  • A minimum of 1 years of Project Management experience. (Experience managing multiple projects preferred)
  • Must pass pre-employment background investigation
